GOOD NEWS-Is the order of the day. We received word last evening of a 
successful surgery. Dennis Funk is a friend of many of you. A local church 
leader since the founding of Grace community Church in Xenia, Ohio, Dennis 
has acted by Acts 6:3. He was a special help to us during my illnesses. A 
large tumor was removed from the brain-"benign" is the key word. Recovery is 
promising-prayer is a living "plus".

SUGGESTED READING-Services in most churches today will feature a reading of 
the proper passages from some record in the four gospels. I prefer to read 1 
Corinthians 15:1-20 lest anybody think only in terms of history. Caution 
must be used in expressing accuracy in theology by proper terminology. Tense 
is of utmost import. Paul is clear with "now" and "is" in verse 20. The 
Resurrection is the perpetual mir-
acle of our faith.

LAST WORDS-About my list last week. All of those I listed are "quoters". I 
can personally guarantee that they have all been quoted. As all good 
speakers, they make evident steps toward the obvious conclusion. Then they
