"BUT GOD IS FAITHFUL"

I CONFESS,GUILTY-Got your attention, didn't I? I commit a major literary 
crime as I read familiar writings. On Friday, I read 1 Corinthians 10:13 as 
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man, who will 
not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able: but will with the 
temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (KJV). 
It said what I wanted to hear very nicely. I omitted the four words that 
form the fulcrum of support. They bring balance as the operative words of 
value..........."but God is faithful"........

PERILOUS-Is the word that best describes the commitment to missionary work. 
The events in Peru in recent days reveals this. Newsweek magazine closes 
their report with this lamentable thought-Are the only ones to profit over 
this sad event the drug lords? They will proceed under a greatly lessened 
scrutiny. But God is faithful.

I RECEIVED-A mystery mail from a reader. I only know that they were back at 
home after five months hospitalization. Now you know the mystery. But God is 
faithful.

THE STUDIES-That are posted at my site have gendered discussion. Some of 
them were written during my writing times of all Church School cirriculum. I 
would teach the teachers and they would instruct the classes. Others were 
used as guides for weekly family times. Add a couple of music suggestions 
and a couple of sentence prayer starters and the father could lead and family 
members participate.

MOTHERS DAY-Reminded me to especially pray for those who have answered a 
ministry call that takes them away from family holidays. We celebrated as a 
family last week. The first time since 1976. But God is faithful.
