Have you remembered forgotten essentials-COMMITMENT and CONSEQUENCES.

50TH-The honorees at their anniversary said, "The secret to our success in 
marriage is that we have never had even a slight disagreement."

My skeptical, realistic side said, "You are either lying, or one of you took 
a vow to stop thinking."

If you do not disagree with me today-you have quit thinking.

THANKS, MIKE-After reading my recollection about knowledge versus wisdom, 
Mike McCormick from Xenia, Ohio added this. "Knowledge is being aware that 
the stove is hot. Wisdom is having sense enough to not touch it." 

WHILE WE ARE HERE-Thinking about my Junior teacher, Anna Quick. She did a 
series on "Godlike Growth " based on Luke 2:52. The four areas of growth 
that please God are: 1. INTELLECTUAL 2. PHYSICAL 3. SPIRITUAL 4. SOCIAL                                        Good stuff! I have used those outlines many times.

COMBUSTIBLE-Combinations. Disaster comes from simple diabolical mixing a few 
substances. Please add to this list. Let me know that you are out 
there-thinking.
PRIDE + IGNORANCE, POWER +SELFISHNESS, ANYTHING + LAZINESS

MUSIC-Is a "touchy" subject. Want to watch a grand video? The photography

IF THE LORD WILLS-I will be taking a quick trip to Iowa in two weeks. Family 
here and there are making plans to make it possible. I can write you 
regularly by having my son do the actual mailing. School begins here on 
August 14, so that sets an ending boundary that may delay my writing to you 
a day or two.

POLITICS-Is guaranteed to bring disagreement. Please be informed on:
GLOBALISM-The furor that surrounds this initiative is inevitable. So is the 
fact of globalism. I hold to the belief that we must move in this direction 
in the last days.
STEM CELL RESEARCH-We have reached the "slippery slope" that will slide 
mankind into areas that are not where it belongs. WHOA!
FAITH-BASED INITIATIVES-Are going to forge alliances that may force the 
church into areas of unholy compromise. WHOA!
