Hello,                         GOD IS ETERNALLY FAITHFUL

WEATHER-We have reached 100 degrees plus for seventeen consecutive days. 
Forecasters say that we will break the record of nineteen days set in 1925.

TRIP-My quick trip to Iowa appears to be a "go," I will leave on Saturday 
with Randall and his family. Vehicle arrangements for the six of us have 
been made. Jeanene, wife, will not attempt the rigors of the trip and all of 
the arrangements and adjustments. Plans are to begin home trip on Friday, 
August 10. I will stay in touch with you.

A.D.A.-The Americans With Disabilities Act is eleven years old as of last 
week. The modifications have made mobility possible for those of us that 
need help. Wheelchair bound since 1991 and dual below-knee amputations, I 
must depend on others even with ramps, lifts, and adapted showers. Austin and 
Denver were recently voted as the best cities in America for mobility, 
Winter weather gives Austin the nod.

COMBUSTIBLE-The response was very limited. Are you all on vacation? I did 
glean a few goodies. Read into these any political or personal bias that you 
want. Explosive-Privilege+Irresponsibility Freedom+Apathy 
Position+Arrogance Demolitionism+Excitability. "Don't set up camp on your                                                  present success, use the security as a launching pad."                                                                             "Unthinking conservatives want things as they used to be, 
even if they never were that way." B. Franklin we will never be!

DO THE MATH-If you don't accept this that I received. (Technically Psalms are 
not chapters, but count them as such for this.) Shortest chapter in 
Bible-Psalms117. Longest chapter in Bible-Psalms 119. Center chapter in 
Bible-Psalm 118. There are 594 chapters before and 594 chapters that follow. 
Added they total 1188. Center verse in Bible Psalm 118:8., "It is better to 
trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man." Coincidence? You decide, 
but the message is at the center of success.

RUSSIA-CHINA are being actively pursued by the United States. Russia and 
China are forging new bonds of friendship.
I feel that all Christians need to watch here personally and prophetically. 
Russia and China grow from the same root philosophically--Marxism and 
Leninism. They both share equal hatreds-freedom and religion. I heard first 
hand this morning of a property seizure, beating and other physical torture 
in the name of the state in Russia. China has only a bad record on all human 
rights, especially to religion.

Prophetically we must consider the closing verses of Daniel 11, references to 
the destructive war in Ezekiel 39, (personal question- could the seven month 
cleanup period be after the utter destruction of nuclear warfare), and 
Revelation 16:12 where divine action makes it possible for a massive army 
from the East to march into battle in the holy land. I read yesterday where 
Iran and North Korea must be considered as armed and a threat.

I am way out on a long limb in this area. I have been on a trail of 
prophetic preaching on China since 1960. I am maybe no wiser now, but when 
Washington announced that the twenty-first century would belong to Asia; I 
felt no dumber.
